Alarms
And not the sort you’re thinking.. I’m talking alarm clocks. This morning, either the alarm didn’t go off, or we slept through it for Matty’s 0600 feed. Fortunately, so did he, and today we were planning on starting the migration to a 4 hour feed cycle anyway, so everything worked out fine. As a matter of fact, as of this evening, we’ve got Matty on a revised schedule that will allow us, and him, to get more sleep. He actually seems a little happier on the new schedule as well, as he gets larger feeds less often which means that each feed is more filling. Of course, changing the feed schedule means that we’ve now got to completely rearrange his drugs schedule… but Pam already pulled out the calculator and worked out all the new times as there’s a few drugs that can’t be mixed and must be taken half an hour before feeds, etc.
Last night, Matty was a quite the angel, and didn’t really stir too much, nor did he have any dramas with his tubing.. so we were very thankful of that. Hopefully, we’ll repeat the event again tonight
