Yes, it has been! Oh, how they grow up so fast… It seems just yesterday that Matty was a tiny 500 grammer. Of course, mum’s  been busy again creating a beautiful couple of cakes.

The ladies up at 6B were also very keen for any news on Matty’s progress. It goes to show that it’s more than a job for these amazing people who look after our sick and premature babies.

Speaking of the man himself, he had a pretty chilled out day. We did have to give him the full service treatment today, however, as his ostomy bag let go.. but that gave us the opportunity to also give him a bit of splish splash in the bath.

Matty is shocked that he doesn't get a slice of cake

Tonight when it was time for some reading, Matthew was fast asleep. Indeed, he slept through the whole chapter of Harry Potter, only stirring once or twice to get comfortable. It was really quite nice to hear his alarm only once during the visit.

Apart from that, it was a pretty uneventful day for Matthew. That’s good, because he needs a nice long relaxing weekend.

All tuckered out after a major service.
